This session will provide an insight in to how the IBM WebSphere Liberty team is stream lining and automating their build process. By creating processes to automate the provisioning and de-provisioning of resources using IBM UrbanCode Deploy we are able to support the rapid deployment of hundreds of machines per build.
The talk will cover best practices and the principles behind using IBM UrbanCode Deploy in a large scale environment including both how it's used in production and additionally in configuring and deploying the DevOps environment.

Michael Shaffer is an automation specialist at the IBM Hursley lab. After working as an integration specialist in technical pre sales he moved in to his current role within the WebSphere Application Server Liberty team where he has been implementing a new automated build system.
