Abstract:
Exceptional web experiences offer tailored content to the end-user. In a large, complex, organisation this can prove challenging to implement and test. Common requirements are multi-dimensional personalisation for 10,000s of users, multiple variants of a single content item (by division, language...), the need for hierarchical rules, all of which tests PZN and makes for a challenging implementation. All of this while preserving the usability of the content authoring experience. While building the intranet for a global top-ten bank, premier business partner Open Logic encountered just such requirements. We designed and implemented a lightweight, extensible mechanism was designed to meet the bank's requirements with minimal custom code and making maximum use of the facilities offered by WCM. Attend this session to understand the options for meeting complex personalisation requirements, the challenges to overcome and more about the solution we constructed for this customer.
