Abstract:
In this presentation, we'll look at the topic of Federated ESBs - how tojoin together services from different business domains. We'll discuss thehistory so far of SOA and ESBs and why Federated ESBs are needed. Inparticular, we'll look at IBM's Service Federation Management technology,part of WebSphere Service Registry and Repository, discuss how it aims tohelp create a Federated ESB architecture, and how it works - what it doesand does not do. We'll show a brief demo of how it can be used, and discussthe current feature set and product support. We'll close with an invitationfor feedback on SFM and Federated ESBs.
