Building a world class authoring experience for Portal\n\nThe presentation will focus in on combining IBM WebSphere Portal Server and Web Content Management to provide:\n\n<li>Marketing driven multiple home page layouts </li>\n<li>Alternative content presentations for different user communities and/or devices. Managed by business people </li>\n<li>World class "ease of use" total site management including "business user" dynamic presentation templates </li>\n<li>Automated meta-data generation for business reporting (support for automatic Dublin Core Metadata) </li>\n<li>Support for multiple concurrent content management systems (coexistence and migration) </li>\n<li>Real-time page feedback statistics aggregated across clusters (e.g. number of other people viewing the page, how people got to this page, where other people went from this page, number of page views)</li>\n\nThomas will reference real-life scenarios based on his extensive experience of how to deliver these solutions and will illustrate these with demonstrations and in-depth technical discussions.

Thomas Nilsson:

Thomas Nilsson (InfoSys)\n\nThomas is a specialist in solutions delivered with IBM Websphere Portal and IBM Web Content Management and has worked on a number of high profile portal projects for InfoSys during that last 18 months, both in the UK and Scandinavia. Thomas has played a strong role in the development of the InfoSys Domisphere Portal Manager offering and has taken part in activities ranging from customer engagements, architecture and implementation consultancy.
