Stream:
Web2.0 SIG (4)
Speakers:
Robin Fernandes
Abstract:
Looking for an easy way to build an Ajax Web app that meets an immediate business need? Want to quickly manipulate and expose enterprise content so it can blossom in a Web 2.0 environment? Find out how WebSphere sMash focuses on speed, simplicity and agility to solve these problems and more, making it an ideal platform for developing and running situational applications and services. In this technical session, Robin will demonstrate new features in sMash 1.1, such as visual tooling enhancements and improvements to the PHP/Java bridge. Robin will also show "what's cooking" in Sebring (the experimental branch available on projectzero.org) such as the PHP/Groovy bridge. Finally, the talk will touch upon why technology from WebSphere sMash is being embedded into other IBM products.
