This talk will provide an overview of the latest release of WebSphere Extended Deployment (XD), Version 6.1. v6.1 was released in May of this year. This talk will focus on the new interesting features of 6.1, including support for non-WebSphere middleware environments, new packaging, and greatly enhanced ObjectGrid support. This talk will also provide some insight on current customer deployments of XD and what features are in production use today.
